Israeli strikes against Iran (26 October 2024)

France has learned of Israel’s announcement of strikes against military targets in Iran overnight, in response to the attack of 1 October.

France urges the parties to refrain from any escalation or action likely to aggravate the situation of extreme tension prevailing in the region.
